to help the people of Haiti

I do a lot of weird things that I think make the world and my life better. And so last week I went to Haiti with Water.org. I made some videos to show you, and more specifically, about this village called Savann Tabak. Their well has been broken but they are organizing themselves to do what they need to fix it and get clean water again. Check it out! Water Project in Savann Tabak

Join

"It's like we are animals," said Jan Baptiste Dienfette, a member of Savann Tabak's water committee. "We are bathing in the river because we have no other place to go. We are drinking the dirty water and are scared of cholera." Jan Baptiste wants to see her kids in school instead of fetching water; she doesn't want to see anyone make trips to the hospital because of waterborne disease. And she doesn't want the people to have to keep fighting for water in the dry season. Jan Baptiste joined the water committee to advocate for her community and get their broken well repaired.
