This proposal notes challenges to current water and sanitation solutions such as access to philanthropic investments, a lack of awareness in communities of the positive impact of WaterCredit, and the sustainability of current solutions. The team offers a solution to raise awareness in local communities through education, partnerships, and the increased involvement of micro-finance institutions in the infrastructure construction process.
